Mindfulness changes our brains. Makes us happier. Puts us back in the driver’s seat of our lives.
But it’s not a crash diet, a passing fad or a magic pill.
It takes work and commitment. Mostly, it takes a willingness to let go and accept that the answer you’re looking for may not be as complicated as you think.
If you don’t have a mindfulness practice, or if your practice has fallen short of expectations, I’d encourage you to hang in there and keep practicing anyway. Keep experimenting, experiencing, and learning. Keep pursuing the peace you really want to believe exists.
Because it does exist. You just have to find a way to tap into it throughout your day—no matter where you are or what you’re doing.
